Sunday, May 2 - The Ole' Blue Swan Airport

Despite overcast skies,crosswinds,and high spring grass, members were at the old Blue Swan Airport Sunday afternoon getting in some air time. Bill’s 120 mm E Fan Byron F-16 Jet had some trouble with lift off because of the high crosswinds and grass but next time out should be a go. Sure is a nice plane Bill! Dan’s E-Plane lost the battery during flight and with it hanging in front of the wing made the plane nose heavy… which caused a hard landing and resulted in a broken prop and landing gear….
